How We work

We are a Humanistic, Integrative Counselling Therapy practice. Our approach focuses on you as a unique individual, and your own perspective.

To help understand your issues, and address them we hope to build a relationship around trust, confidentiality, respect and understanding. A variety of useful techniques based around talking therapies could include: Creative work, discussion of dreams, relaxation, mindfulness and grounding, cognative, emotionaly focused and evidence based approaches.

We believe in understanding the whole person and utilise our experience in working with many different issues that you may face. We integrate this with our understanding of physical and emotional health, working with young people, and range of approaches used in psychiatry in order to work with you in the best way possible. We are bound by the BACP ethical framework in our practice, and are commited to ethical best practice. We recieve regular supervision by qualified supervisors, and undertake training and continuing professional practice improvement regularly.
